Biden - I wonder whyever Trump thinks I'd want to visit him in jail?
 
Love it! I can’t believe Trump is telling people in Georgia to “find” votes! If they’ve done all the recounts required by law then he should just accept defeat graciously.

Saw a brilliant Trump joke the other day but I’d definitely get banned if I posted it here!

I think it's mainly about $$$ - he's raked in millions from stupid people on the fraud fantasy. And his rancid little brand needs the election to have been "stolen" rather than "lost" to retain its future value.

Probably. He's apparently got significant debt, and milking his supporters is working really well. I think there's also a genuine belief on his part that he can't have lost.
 
He won’t be attending the inauguration ceremony, as is traditional. Apparently Prestwick airport has been notified of an American military aircraft landing two days before the inauguration. That has been assumed to be Trump coming to play golf at his Turnberry resort, as that is just a hop and a spit from Prestwick.

He will, of course, be arrested on landing for breaching lockdown rules relating to unnecessary travel.

I assume that US military personnel movements aren't subject to this. So here's the plan: As Commander in Chief he will cause the US Army (or Space Force?) to lease Trump Turnberry as a base for 10 years at $25M per annum and draft him as its Commandant, with rank of 6-star general and full pension rights on resignation, plus a Congressional Medal of Honor and a statue.

Of course he doesn't realise yet that congressional review and consent would be required for everything involved in it, so on the 20th he'll probably just end up having a rally or something.

Wee Nicola has already told him he can’t come to Scotland at the moment (even to dodge the inauguration).

Earlier today, Trump incited his supporters to march on Capitol Hill and whipped their already depleted brains into a frenzy! He should be arrested for inciting civil unrest.

It might not work, but just imagine how furious wiith Trump congressional republicans must be: he's lost them the presidency and the senate, and now he's caused them to be physically attacked, not to mention severely damaging the party's electoral prospects for the mid-terms ...
 
Have been watching it whilst doing a particularly difficult jigsaw.

Trump has done something really weird, he's got everybody, republicans and democrats united in condemning his stupidity. There is talk of immediate impeachment. Jo Biden made a short very angry off the cuff speech. Very impressive. The odds of Trump finishing up in jail have increased me thinks.
 
I agree Doc. Importantly, he’s demonstrated that he‘s ‘not one of them’ and hopefully guaranteed they’ll be no future toxic Trumps in the White House!
These ‘supporters’ are still sending him lots of money however for his ‘leaving fund’.
 
As people point out, Dems maybe not as interested in impeachment as some Republicans. If he's impeached and convicted he can't run for Pres again, which would probably be better for Republicans than Democrats ...

I heard a report the other day that following the worse of his rants and tweets, the more donations that are made to his funds.
 
OMG I’ve only just seen what happened! Surely Trump has to be held at least partly responsible for the violence, OK he didn’t tell people in so many words to storm the building, but he was going on about fighting for justice or whatever it was he said, and people took him a bit too literally! I knew he was an idiot but seriously, what did he think this would achieve? There are no words...
Why are people bothering to talk about impeaching him though, he’s only got two weeks left anyway, is there even time to do anything?
