I got a new hi fi just because it had a remote and im to lazy to get up from my bed to play CDs
Your remote control holder is full and to be honest u could do with another
You dont know how to operate hi fi/dvd player/tv without their remotes
Anyone got anymore?

Our TV doesn’t have any buttons on it. (Apart from an off switch.) it’s all done through remote. Or an app on my phone? I haven’t loaded a CD in years. I just stream music from my device to wireless cans. Our freezer has decided to go “part time” as a fridge? Just remembered we have a spare freezer in the garage. The freezer fairy makes life easy.

I wait for films to come onto the telly/be free on Amazon prime to watch them, even though there is a DVD of the same film not 3 feet away from me, because I can’t be bothered to get up, find said DVD and walk 3 paces across the room to put it in the DVD player :D
Most TVs/DVD players etc nowadays don’t really have any buttons on them and will only work with the remote anyway, so that in itself isn’t lazy, it’s just the way things are now.
Also I will probably do at least 80% of my Christmas shopping online, rather than looking round actual shops, that is lazy!

On the remote control front, I don't know if it is laziness, tidiness or efficiency. But my partner bought a universal remote so we only have one for the TV, DVD player and music streamer.
And if we want to listen to something else, we have smart speakers that play radio and podcasts as well as answer questions I can't be bothered to look up on Google and turn the lights on. She is very useful in the kitchen when I am baking when the recipe is in Fahrenheit and I have a gas oven as well as timing my various creations, all while I can catch up on my regular podcasts. Again, more tidy than a radio and timer and phone/laptop/tablet as well as being more efficient.

Hmmm am I confusing efficiency with laziness?

you instead of taking off your close reading glasses just side them down your nose and just look over the top of them to watch tv

Whenever I start to call myself "lazy", I remind myself that:
1) If other people aren't calling me lazy, why does it matter?
2) If other people are calling me lazy, who are they to judge me?

Guilty of doing that. So miss my varifocals. Problem when there is writing on the screen as I need my other glasses so end up doing the handbag fishing exercise
