Don’t forget you’re diabetic

Do you think you should eat those

How much sugar have you had today

You’ll be bursting out your clothes



I’ve got that friend who’s judge and jury

Always questioning my food

They’re looking after all I do

But I’m finding it quite rude



I know I’m diabetic

I’m aware of what I’ve bought

I don’t need you to unravel

Your gown and sit in court



I’m sure you’re only caring

But don’t go over and above

Please exercise compassion

All I’m needing is your love
