Just thought I would share how absolutely and utterly stupid I am!!

I have only just realised I can receive and send private messages! Duh! On the same that I put the tea bags in the fridge, lemon juice in the washing machine in stead of fabric softener, tried to do a BM was lighter (don't worry I don't smoke but like candles LOL) and sent an email meant for my mum to my ex boss! Luckily I get on with him still LOL!

Will someone please hit me round the head with something hard! :D

And from the looks of the mistakes in my above post I can't type either!! 🙂

And your wonderful sense of humour is shining out! 🙂

By the way, don't tell anyone else, but you can edit your own posts, to correct typing errors, if you want to - click on EDIT button on bottom right of each post. 🙂

Nowt wrong with teabags in the fridge - stops the insects getting them - perhaps not an issue in UK, but is necessary in some parts of Africa & Australia, for example! 🙂

Hahaha I need to introduce you to my mum.

At one time she couldn't sleep well so I told her to drop a few drops of lavender onto her pillow. She woke in the morning and told me she had a very sticky head 😱

We checked the bottle she had used and it was clear nail varnish :D

Another time she saw me and my sister clean our shoes with furniture polish, as you do if you are lazy which I am. They come up nice and shiney. She thought she would try it out.

She told us that her shoes smelt wonderful afterwards. We looked at the bottle she had used and it was air freshner.................

Tea bags in the fridge is good.

Thank you Copepod!

It is a bit of list Alan 😱.

Just wondering what the heck I am going to do next! Already dropped a rather a shape knife right by my toes while making myself some lunch!😱

I am dangerous today!

Luckily I had realised what I had done with the lemon juice and got it out before putting it on! Although Lemon scented clothes is probably not a bad thing 😉

Ha ha :D oh dear! Love the nail polish! I do the same with furniture polish!

My aunt once told us she had put the plates in the washing machine and the clothes in the dish washer Ha ha!

I also once sent a email to my boss while working with him that was again intended for my mum. All I had sent was "love you loads and loads and loads Kay XXXXXXXXXXXX" as she was having a bad day, my boss came up to me trying not to laugh and said "i am very flattered Kay but I am a married man you know!" He then proceeded to laugh his head off and everyone else around was wondering what the heck had just gone on!! I was so embarrassed 😱!

Ah yes and another more embarrassing email mishap! At the same bleedin' company. There was a bit of flirting going on between me and someone in a different department but he would blow hot and cold and one day I sent an email to one of the girls I got really well with saying "does he like me or not?" with the subjecting "confused". The problem was I hadn't sent it to my friend I had sent it to the guy I was talking about!!!😱😱😱

God knows how I didn't just quit my job on the spot!! :D

Lemon scent is OK, but it's acidic and might affect dyes / colours in clothes. Better to use lemon juice to make hot toddies, especially this time of year, I reckon!

Ooh hot toddies haven't had one for years! Might have to have one over Christmas as a treat :D

Ha ha love them all :D. I have done the teabags in the fridge and milk in the cupboard... I have a habit of putting things away then can never find them, until I am looking for something else (that I don't find) and find the original item I was looking for 😱...

Hubby also sent me a romantic (but not suggestive, thankfully) e-mail one day but forgot that my old email address had a 1 after the name so some other poor woman with the same name ended up with a soppy email! He didn't live that one down for quite a while!

Ha ha yep do that too 😱

In a fast food restaurant I once put sugar rather than salt on the fries....

I find that at certain times of the month (though not every month) I become clumsy and befuddled. Hopefully after a good nights sleep tonight you will feel much better tomorrow.

How did they taste? :D

Actually not that anyone wants to know this but it is that time for (well should be) 🙂

I do need a goods night sleep though!

Don't worry koko, we all do dumb things sometimes; as evidenced by the hypo stories thread (there's also another one, but it will probably soon be merged into the above one). 🙂
