Sorry I’ve just seen this.
I hope the bites and infection clears up quickly now.
TBH I would let the podiatrist check your toe over just to be on the safe side.
 
I had an infected bite a few years ago and thought it was an allergic reaction. I happened to mention it to the Pharmacist and she told me it was infected. The bite was on the bottom part of my leg and my leg was red from ankle to knee. Antibiotics did the trick for 7 days.

Keep an eye on it. Cellulitis is serious and needs dealing with it if you have got that so do not think you are wasting people's time.
