Been having some me time for a while, but I started a full time job, the 1st one for 8 years. As some of you may know I chose to stop work altogether to look after my father, until is death in 2016.

It has been a tough time and I found it very difficult breaking into the job market having been away for so long. The job is bookkeeper to a small family firm. They are in a bit of a mess having had a series of temps, not ideal. So working hard, so much to do but I am loving it.

Need to get better organised with lunches, as facilities not great and I've noticed my sugar levels are up due to high carb lunches. Wish me luck

Hope you, old and new are well, maybe catch up soon with you.

Xxxx

Welcome back @Hazel, I've been wondering where you've been! lol
Congratulations on the job! 🙂, don't worry about your sugars too much, I'm sure they'll settle once your better into the routine xx

Welcome back Hazel 🙂

Welcome back Hazel. Congratulations on the job.

Hello Hazel, glad you’re enjoying the job. Long may it continue.
Are you able to get out for a walk after your lunch? I find this helps keep those spikes down and is good for those of us in sitting down jobs!

Great news Hazel. Sounds like a lovely but challenging job.

Nice to hear from you again Hazel and congratulations on your job 🙂

Hi there Hazel.🙂 Congrats on the new job.😛 It IS tough sometimes juggling BGs, but it all falls in to place with a bit of monitoring and record-keeping...and it’s great that you’ve found a job you enjoy.:D Good luck!
