How sad am I ... spoke to the pharmacist at our surgery today and I’m getting a novarapid echo pen as I need half doses . I’m so excited as I believe it comes with stickers . It’s the little things in life that make me smile
 
it doesn't come with stickers no, however you can buy skins for them xx
 
Half unit pens were a major step forward for diabetes when they first arrived, but they wouldn't let adults have them to begin with - it just wasn't recognised that adults would find them very useful too. Had a really jazzy print pattern on them at first - I'd have loved one too even though by that time I was nearly on my first pump!

I think this is going to help massively as quite often I need half a unit , a whole unit is too much and it means eating to keep my levels up so that I can go for a walk with our dog x
 
Half unit pens are very helpful. It is great to be able to make small adjustments to your doses and give more accurate Bolus doses.

I still have my jazzy pens, and the colours match the insulins I use. When I got mine they were still classified as children’s and I have a moon sticker on my background pen and a sun on my quick acting. Your excitement is totally understandable. Sorry they don’t still do stickers.
 
Ooh I love a new diabetes gadget!

Hope you get in really well with it. I believe it will also keep a record of when you last jabbed, which is very handy if you are as occasionally scatty as I was on MDI!
