Glad the GP was helpful. But ouch about the foot.

I went to see the lovely GP today who said it could be because of the menopause. She has prescribed me 3 months worth of HRT but said it usually doesn’t work for these symptoms but worth a try. She has also referred me to the rheumatologist because my fatigue has been becoming progressively over the last year. She thinks it could be the CFS/ME getting worse but that rheumatologist could carry out further tests.

Take care with the HRT, Amanda - it's not always recommended for pwme, so as with all drugs for pwme, I believe it's a good idea to start with a fraction of the amount prescribed and work up to make sure you can tolerate it.

GP sounds really good though - great that she has referred you to rheumatologist rather than saying "it's probably just the ME".

Thank you everyone. Thank you Juliet for the warning about HRT x
