hypo during eating?

Ok Im being dim here but its early and we had a free works do last night!
H had a low whilst eating his tea[ we were out galavanting] hasnt happened before.so could it be 1- weather
2- in the afternoon he volunteerd at an m/s excercise class and did help with the wheelchairs
3- a later tea maybe than usual?- need to check this one as hes still in bed- he always injects 10-15 mins before which Im guessing he did...................thoughts

Hot weather and more exercise than usual would definitely suggest that a lower than usual short acting dose before tea would be appropriate. Later tea shouldn't make much difference, unless long acting dose is too high. Did H test before injecting? In, fact, H might need to reduce long acting dose and short actig doses last night / today.

I would think the warm weather and activity would have made him more sensitive to insulin (both basal and bolus), might have been worth delaying/reducing the meal dose slightly. Though 'during' eating does make me wonder if he was on a downward trend even before the meal. Not sure what your expectation of onset for the meal dose would be?

I've had two dips after eve meal two days running just by watering garden straight after eating. Bloomin annoying!
