Looks like a couple of units of blood has sorted me out. Just need a bit if iron pumping into me first. Can't say I'm sorry. The staff are lovely but I could do with some sleep because of the shouters.
Thanks for all the good wishes.
Yes, I remember being on the CCU (Cardiac Care Unit) and there was constant noise, not just from the nurses and patients, but all the alarms going off! Just what you need with a dicky ticker! 😱 I was in for 8 days and I barely slept at allSounds like you've had the same experience as my mum khskel. Her haemaglobin plummeted and she's been in for blood transfusions. Hope you're feeling a lot better now and a good nights sleep in your own bed is certainly needed! Hospitals are noisy places! 😉
Thank Alan just the sort of info I need with going into the cardiac unit next week. Hope they have got plent of sleeping pills🙄 although I believe I will probably be out of it for a couple of days after th opp😱Good news 🙂 Hope you manage to get a better night's sleep, although you might have to keep a window open if it's anywhere near as hot and humid as it is here!
