I went to a shopping outlet and half way around is a Thortons offering a sample of a chocolate smile. Then inside they were making chocolates so I had to sample a Alpine chocolate. As it would look rude and greedy to go for seconds I am limited to those 2 chocolates so boy did I enjoy them.

Then round to Lindt shop and another free sample.

That's my chocolate fix done.

Oooooh - Thorntons Alpina! - haven't had one of those for DECADES.

Wonderful things.

Sad though I may be, I also love their dark choc coffee creams.

Do they still make their Caskets? (a nougat casket, embellished with choc, with a selection of their chocs inside - used to cost an arm and a leg!)

I haven't seen caskets but pre D days it was their toffee I went for. Oh I miss dark treacle toffee
