Forgetting the filling how would you estimate how many carbohydrates there are in a finger sandwich - the sort you have in an afternoon tea or at a buffet?

Well a whole slice of bread is 15-20g carbs, it depends how wide the finger sandwiches are, do they look like 1/4 of the normal width of a slice of bread for example? You’ll have to guess it based on that 🙂

Not forgetting there is a bread slice top & bottom. 😛

Do you mean a sandwich made with a finger roll if so C & Cs claim for a 41g roll it would be 21g carb.

That type are usually one third of a slice of bread, so each one is 2/3rds the carb of a whole slice, so assuming it's thin sliced, say 10g carb apiece. That's what I'd assume upfront - then correct later if necessary - but might not need a correction depending on what else your body happened to be up to, that day.
