I was planning to buy some Burgen and bag them in 2 slices to use for toast if I fancied it 🙂 xI find the longer you keep bread in the freezer (as in longer than three months) the more it dries out at the top and goes soggy at the bottom when it's defrosted. No problem if you're taking it out by the slice to toast it, but it can be annoying if you're defrosting the whole loaf to use as bread.
