I'd eat the loaf, it's all or nothing with me. Once I'm on the Atkins I'm okay, but I keep sabotaging myself. I'm back on it tomorrow and with all these people watching me I'd best keep to it. :D If I'd been a patient of Dr A back in the day he'd have wiped the floor with me. There's a story of a lady waiting to go in to see him and he was loudly berating somebody so she was expecting a chubster to waddle out but out came a svelte lady! 😱

I've hijacked somebody's thread again haven't I? All me me me :D Apologies.
Don't worry Ditto, we've all done that🙄🙄 x

I find I have to have a banned list of things I can't eat
I didn't go very low carb but low enough for me
So you have to work out what is best for you all trial and error along the way.
Costa mocha and a scone with cream doesn't spike me to much have it with jam and it sky rockets.
Oats, weetabix and all cereal are barred
If having a roast tea I accomadate for it with a walk 30-45 minutes later and not slumped in the sofa snoring.
I also know I can have 50g of mashed tatties and 100g of roasters I do this once a month now as my treat.
I test 6 times a day sometimes less depending what's on the menu. I don't cook my husband does and he's a brilliant cook and will try anything with me.
For lasagne I use the diet docs lasagna sheets of egg and cauliflower and I have to say it's lovely or I use leeks for the sheets and no one noticed when I made it Yup I cook sometimes.
For rice I replace with cauliflower or broccoli rice
For pasta I use butternut squash in spirals or courgettes which I didn't think I'd like but do.
For spuds it's extra veg on the plate but I can usually have one but no more than two or I have celeriac as they make good spuds and chips, mashed is cauliflower mashed. I've also done turnip chips with my burger
I have protein rolls or soya and linseed but keep that one to 2 slices a day.
I'm still learning daily as my numbers can be sods and your ???? At them too.
Good luck.

I'm impressed Dollypolly with your dietary regime - your exercise routine - your decrease in weight & measurements - and your overall review results. Many congrats and well done - keep up the good work x
