How are you feeling in one word?

good

Comfortable

Complicated

Grief is challenging, my hand is still fairly useless after 8 months and painful today, too many other things to mention.

Awake!

I crashed early after a long, fast walk yesterday and a pretty naughty hypo at the end of it which I thought I had treated, but just kept going down. Couldn't even be bothered to cook tea, but don't worry, I am a long way from wasting away! 😉

A few years ago I posted this when I was frustrated with provision and at a very low ebb:

Well amazed! (that's my word incidentally!). I moved from my uncooperative Diabetes care provider in October last year and now I'm in the care of a local provider. I find that due to an elevated HBA1C and overnight hypos, not only do I qualify for a pump I've been put on the list for HCL therapy. This took one consulation from a nurse and one from a consultant. So moving providers has delivered for me (i.e. at least I'm on the list!). I can't believe the inconsistency across providers. Now in my 48th year of T1 diabetes, I am so happy!!! If you're strugging with a T1D care provider who resides in the dark ages, take a chance and move provider if you can! Thanks for all the support and guidance from members of this forum.
