Learn from my lessons. Lol.
well, it's that time of year again. Admittedly not having as many hypos as I was when on multiple injections, but I forgot to reduce my background insulin amount yesterday so had a hypo. Then today I remembered to put background insulin to 50% (on pump) but forgot at lunch that I didn't need as much insulin.
The hypo was so bad. At first I thought it was just dizziness because the classroom was so stuffy. I had two packets of skittles. Now got a real bad headache.
So remember fellow diabeticarians, in this hot weather, stay vigilant, listen to your body, and test your sugars. You should always have hypo stuff on you, but even more so have it in this hot weather. And drink plenty of water 🙂
