hi its day 3 on this new system of 4 injections a day I have been ok and my levels seem better,however my right calf gets very hot i know this seems really wierd but it gets really hot then it goes away it dosnt happen to my other leg?
My wife is laughing at me as it really is the strangest thing it cant be a coinsidence surely has anyone any ideas sometimes i thing im turning into a hypocondreac.I was 1 hour late with my slow acting jab and now ive got a mother of a headache is this normal help

A feeling of heat in lower leg / calf can be a symptom of something serious eg deep vein thrombosis. However, diagnosis would require careful history taking and examination by a healthcare professional, so worth a visit to out of hours GP / A & E / or at very least, phonecall to NHS Direct. It may be nothing and it might be a concidence, but does require action by you as soon as possible.
 
I doubt the headache was due to taking your slow acting insulin late. I take mine late all the time (yes, im a bad diabetic). Also... they say that an hour either side of your usual time is fine, just try your best.

It was probably a coincidence, or you went from being very high to low within a short space of time.
