Hospital

well after battling since xmas with what ever i then fell ill at the end of August and now hospital stuff is needed.

what annoys me is that years ago surgeons had a chance to put things right but for what ever reasons they wouldn't operate and now years later the knock effects have kicked in.

not sure how much having diabetes played with this but at least that is better be it the BG levels seem odd.

at the end of August i had acute prostate infection which was having a knock on with both the bladder and bowel. although i was treated for the infection it felt like things were just not right and yep over the weekend fell ill but this time no prostate pain.

it seems when the pain settles down something is mucking around with the left kidney area.

i am having a home visit then after that they are wanting the hospital to take over with it going on so long.

oh well joys of our human bodies.

just to add doctor came out just after posting message and has only discovered a lump in my left abdomen, this is so not good

Sorry to hear that things are being so difficult for you @mikeydt1. I hope things start to get better for you soon.

doctor is doing the surgeon referrals and other stuff but until this is over my mind is going to be all over the place.

as soon as they say mass it seems to send the fear of god in to people including me. just a good job he came out today or if left things could of been real nasty.

still the pain management is a nightmare just wondering if this is why my BG levels are up.

just wondering if this started some time last year as i had ct scans and nothing was showing apart from bowel disease and the weird thing is i started with diabetic issues last year as well!

Sorry to hear that you have more problems and are worried. Hope they get you fixed easily and soon.

The last paragraph of the opening post of the thread below might help you not to be so worried or at least provide some light relief.... it made me giggle!
