Hospital very pleased with me

Been to see DSN today and she said that herself and my consulant are pretty amazed by my turnabout of my diabetes control , since doing Dafne and going on pump in 2010 my diabetes has gone from being in double HBA1c figures to hoovering between 6.7-6.9% something they thought they would never see , yet again they have resurred me about recurring hypos saying whilst they are not good they wont affect my memory and that they only time they are concerned about recuring hypos affecting the brain is in developing children up to the age of 7 .It was such a nice visit and they said ive worked very hard and to keep up the good work , they were pleased with me as well because i recommended Dafne to a man who works at my nursery with me and his diabetes has dramatically improved post dafne too so good news all around
