Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
tomorrow at 3pm. I am to attend the Eye clinic so they can have a look at my lasered right eye which I had done a month ago. My eye seems fine, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good result, as I didn't like the laser treatment:( and I don't want it in a hurry again😉😱 Sheena

Er no, I have a routine mamogram appointment on the 9th( too much info maybe!) and my Guys undergrauate dentist wanted me to go back on the 9th but I said I have another appointment that day, so she said she would phone me, but hasn't yet........... the hospital sagas go on, lol Sheena😛
 
a mamogram is not to bad sure it gets suashed a bit but its over and done with fast. Heres hoping the dentist calls when you are out

Thanks so much guys, I have had mamagrams before and a bit of squishing and it's all over and done with for another 3 years 🙂 I have good vibes for tomorrow..................because of the wonderful support on here :D SheenaX

Hi the outcome is that I have to have more eye laser treatment to my right eye as it is still active with the abnormal blood vessels. Sarah ( a lovely optiican ) said I also have Cataracts in both eyes:(. I will have laser surgery in the next few weeks, but it's not too urgent. As for the Cataracts, she described them as a spokes on a bicycle, the edge of the spokes, gradually going in towards the center. Sarah called in her colleague and he looked at the right eye and talked about a bit of ghosting in there, I joked and said' it sounds as though I have Caspar and his family living there, we had a good laugh about it anyway.
Sarah has put me on Mr ******** laser list, he is a really nice, friendly consultant , the top man, as she now knows that I really do not like lasering( a bit of a scardy cat)😱

So, not what I was expecting, but I'm sure it will get sorted out in the near future. Take care and best wishes Sheena
 
I'm sorry to hear that you will need more lasering Sheena :( It's good to hear that you will get the top person though, so I hope that it is quick and simple when it arrives. 🙂

Sheena sorry to hear about the cateracts and that you have to have more lasering, this guy sounds like the main man for the job though so i hope like Alan that it is over quick and simple and problem free xx
