So I turned up for appointment to be asked did I bring insulin with me. Nearly lost it, GP surgery will not give it to me without letter from consultant saying i am prescribed it. Letter was sent on 19 January but GP said it only mentioned thyroxine, DSN is disputing that and showed me want was sent. Email from DSN sent to surgery, receptionist doing her know it all act. I made her give me an emergency prescription. Its no wonder I'm stressed out.

Are you saying that you have been waiting for insulin to be prescribed since January?
I hope you have made a complaint to the practice manager.

I think you need to do it in writing and send a copy to a third party, like PALs or your MP and mention in the letter that you have tried to resolve the problem verbally/informally without success.
