I rang the hospital earlier to ask about how long my appointment is for tomorrow, my OH is coming with me now and we wanted to plan how to get there etc. Anyway, it turns out I will be seeing the main diabetes consultant and not just one of the "team". And my appointment is for 30 minutes. I'll also find out the results of my recent blood tests tomorrow, Im keen to see what my HbA1c test is.

Oh that sounds like a positive thing, what time is your appointment? Good luck and I will be thinking of you 🙂 x

So did you say - he'll need an hour at least, to answer all my questions! LOL

I really really hope whoever it is, he's a nice approachable chap. Have to say I was mega impressed first time I saw the main man at Coventry - he'd clearly read ALL my notes before he called me in - and he's a lovely chap who really seems to be interested in YOU. Always felt absolutely relaxed talking to him - he was a person that simply 'got it', and that fact counts for one heck of a lot.

Good luck Stitch !

Head honcho Wow. Best of luck for you tomorrow in getting the answers and treatment you need.

That's really encouraging Stitch. Not only seeing the consultant but a full half hour! You're well prepared.having had far too long to wait. Wishing you a very positive appt.

Im hoping he has read up on what an odd ball I am and can get to the bottom of it!!!

That's great news. I hope that the appointment goes really well for you.

Really good luck for tomorrow. Everything crossed for you 🙂

Hope he's one of those who enjoys a challenge! 🙂 Good luck Stitch, you deserve a break 🙂 I seem to remember you and @Rosiecarmel joined the forum at pretty much the same time, and both of you have had long and largely unnecessary struggles to get to see someone with the requisite knowledge - hope he can get you on the road to good, consistent levels 🙂

All the best for tomorrow, @Stitch147, here's hoping it goes really well xx

I've got everything crossed for you, Stitch. Hope it goes (better than) well and you start getting the treatment you need. Glad OH is going too - always good to have a witness!🙂

Best wishes, hope it all goes perfectly.

Good luck, hope you get a lot out of the appointment.

Here's hoping you have a beneficial appointment with someone who's got a plan to help you out Stitch. I'm rooting for you to get the help you deserve 🙂
