Haven’t seen you around for a few days @AJLang

Hope your are OK and coming to terms with your new diagnosis.

I hope you’re ok .

Me too. Hope you're ok Amanda.x

Thank you so much Mike and everyone. Still finding it difficult to find that I will never be able to walk properly again and I also have a new bleed in my eye - urgent appointment next Monday. BUT I am trying to stay as positive as I can - I have five weeks of a creative writing course starting on Wednesday, I'm going to try to study for an ancient history module and I've made great plans for my 50th birthday celebrations. I just now need to find the mental and physical energy to put all of my plans into action 🙂

Wow the creative writing course sounds amazing - hope the course, the history and the birthday plans all come together and give you something to sink your teeth into. 🙂

Good that you are making plans 🙂
I have five weeks of a creative writing course starting on Wednesday,
Do you think you might publish something online sometime?

Sending you a hug!
Sorry to hear you have had another bleed.

Hope your creative writing course is enjoyable AJ. x

Thank you everyone. Sorry for the delay in replying but had a bad day healthwise today - seems to be happening more and more often. Because of this, and the cost of the archaeology module I'm going to concentrate on my creative writing. The tutor for my course is lovely 🙂 It's five Wednesday evenings and Mark will be going as well to support and motivate me if I'm not feeling well. I'm making slow but steady progress on two books. The first one is Susie - Tails of my Life, told from Susie's perspective. It's currently 22,000 words and Mark is going to help me to self-publish it on Kindle - not to make any money but to make it easier for readers to access. My other project is a novel called Guardians of Ormaton Abbey. That's currently 17,000 words so still a lot to write 🙂 I hope that will also be online via Kindle. I also have plans for Super Sassy Saffy...

Sending hugs and best wishes xx
Sounds like you're doing brilliantly with all your writing projects 🙂

I am sorry to hear about your problems Amanda. The creative writing course sounds wonderful. I am not a very creative person myself. I keep saying I will have a go at some crafts now I am retired from work. I think writing is probably beyond me though.

Thank you Lucy and Maz2. Maz I constantly think that I'm useless at creative writing but as my tutor said it's just about practise 🙂 I really enjoyed my class last night and Mark is coming to all of them as well which is great. He's already planning when we do our homework together 🙂
