I’ve not watched the video, but Google suggests this has been circulating since 2015. And yet no major news networks or diabetes charity have shared it.

To me that shows it is a fake that is playing with people’s hopes.

I think it's always best to await national news like the BBC or this sites announcement than things from other areas.
There's people out there that take pleasure in raising peoples hopes or causing mass panic.
I always check sites like hoaxslayer or snopes just to make sure. If this were true how happy we would be but I'd wait till Fiona Bruce says it
