Any recommendations for travel insurance.

I have had the full whipple last year to remove the pancreas and after 6 months chemo was said to be clear. The quotes I have had for Majorca so far have either been we dont cover or £700+ !

😱

Can I ask which company quoted £700? The reason I ask is that from an actuarial point of view, that sounds reasonable. I doubt you'll get it cheaper anywhere else.

I used a company called Flexicover Travel Insurance for a holiday in Florida in October 2018. I took out the policy when I booked the holiday in July 2017 and I was covered from that date (for cancellation) and then for all occurences for the duration of the 2 weeks holiday. My health issues are nowhere as serious as yours, ( Type 2 with Metformin and blood pressure medication ) and my premium was £50. I thought that was very reasonable and it might be worth looking into it.
