Trophywench ... during the first 3 months I was exercising at the leisure centre twice a week on the PALS scheme, but I haven't been so much this last few weeks, and not at all for the past two. I know that I really need to get back into it, but I found it a rush as the classes finish at 11 and I start my job at 12 and obviously need time to shower, change into a suit and drive off (eating on the way ... don't tell PC Plod though!). Plus I have been staving off a cold and have horrible hayfever at the moment.
I have also lapsed in keeping my food diary, which I found really useful and I am kicking myself for not doing it. And to save a bit of money I haven't been testing very often as I don't get strips prescribed and have to buy my own, so I have only really used them if I feel sleepy after eating too many carbs etc.
I need to pledge the following things:
1. To re-start my exercise classes as soon as possible
2. To re-start my food diary regularly
3. To eat far less carbs as I know that they cause me havoc
4. Look at recipes that are going to be satisfying and not push up my bg
5. As a result of all the above, I should hopefully start losing more weight as well. It has been yo-yo-ing recently ... down 2lbs then up 2lbs and then 2lbs more, then down again etc ad nauseum.
Disappointed with myself, but at least I know that there are things I should be doing.
