It sounds as if you are only taking 1 type of insulin Lantus which is a slow acting insulin designed to cope with the background release of glucose from the liver but not to take account of the carbs you have in your meals so if blood glucose is still high then you probably will need a fast acting bolus insulin which you take for the meals you are having.
You need to contact you GP or clinic to get something sorted out as it is not good enough to leave you with no proper plan.
If you contact the Diabetes UK helpline tomorrow they may be able to help you.

I have no carbs
I have been back and forward to GP several times nobody listens
I’m all alone with no help and my mentally I’m a mess

In the beginning I was on mixed insulin kick pen
I had to eat more than wot I wanted my bloods sugar wud go down rapidly I had to eat doughnuts and chocolate biscuits to keep myself on top of it
Now I’m exhausted mentally I can’t keep up with any of it
I don’t sleep I can’t get away from this
I hv had no support

No one smeems to answer anything for me
From GP
Did you phone the D UK helpline as people suggested in the thread you started last Wednesday.
You just said you are eating no carbs so has that changed from what you said before.
What are you eating?

If you’ve only been on the Lantus 3 weeks, it’s possible that your dose still needs adjusting @Kresh Were you told to increase it over time?

I have moved your posts to its own thread @Kresh. Please continue your conversation here.

@Kresh also started this thread perhaps that could be amalgamated as there is some background there.
Thanks for linking. Will keep threads separate at the moment as @krush decided not to continue the conversation going on her first thread.

Is it worries about your blood sugar that’s making you scared to close your eyes @Kresh ? Or is it the insulin making you afraid?

I know you know this but you really do need to sleep. Lack of sleep makes everything so hard physically and mentally. Do you have anyone at all who could go to the GP with you as support? If not, I suggest you write down your problem as sometimes it’s easier to explain that way. It might also make them take notice to see it in black and white like that.

One thing you could do to help you get your insulin dose right is to eat the same breakfast and lunch and tea every day. You can vary things a little, eg have broccoli one day, cauliflower the next, but basically keep things the same. If you can manage to eat at the same times each day that will give some regularity too. Then you can see the pattern of your blood sugars as you’ve removed one variable (different meals).

As well as speaking to the GP about your sleep problems, you could ask to speak to the diabetes nurse. Spell out how hard you’re finding things and ask for some further support.

Edited to add that I see you’re taking 10 units of Lantus each morning. That’s not a huge amount and it might well be that you need a little more. That would help your blood sugars. The shaky feeling you describe could simply be due to your blood sugar being a bit high, or it could be what’s called a false hypo. A false hypo is when your body has got used to high sugars so much so that a normal blood sugar makes it panic. This creates the feeling of a hypo even though you’re not actually low.

Something doesn’t not make sense
Half the day I remain 15/16 6am to 3pm on very little food but loads of exercise

Then lunch salad and some protein 1:30 pm and probably I’ll go down to 14
Then after 3 pm I gradually come down to abt 10
Fall again at 4 pm 9 and I feel very weak and shaky
Hv a snack per or carrots and hummus
Back up to 10

Dinner drop again 10 6pm

Is it during day no much food?
Is it Excerise to much ? On little food

Half day insulin resistant and rest of day not insulin resistance?
I’m so confused and mentally exhausted tormenting me sleepless night and panic attacks

It could be your Lantus taking a while to get going @Kresh as it’s a slow-acting insulin. Also, it’s common to be more insulin resistant in the morning and less in the evening, so that could explain it too. In addition, if you’re eating a very low carb lunch of salad and protein that might also have an effect.

Hi guys sorry not getting back
Today was a little different this is my day
Woke up 7 am 13.2
Breakfast 730am boiled egg coffee
Did no Excerise this morning Nothing !

12 pm 13.2 had snack teaspoon hummus and cottage cheese 13.4 2 hours later 13.0

2:30 lunch 13.2 had makeral chick pea salad
Feats cheese tomatoes cucumbers spinach
Onions avocado and some seeds on top
Just an average size bowl
4:30 pm 11.6

Dinner 10.2 feeling lightheaded so did not want to wait any more 6:30 pm
Beef steak did not weigh to be accurate abt half my hand salad chick peas same as above and half my plate of veggies green kind

8:30 11.0 So I panicked a bit and just had abt 4 walnuts
2 almonds and some hazelnuts

And no Excerise today at all !

So is it because I ate a bit more today and insulin took affect during the day better ?

Or is it I did no Excerise?

Now I’m worried to sleep a little will I keep falling during the night

Or do I need to eat something b4 bed
What I do not know ?

What are you worrying about? Your levels are miles away from hypos so no need to worry about those.

It's all ok @Kresh you're doing fine (have messaged you seperately)
