can anyone tell e the carb value of a kiwi fruit as it send my blood sugars sky high also am I the only one where alcohol raises blood sugars

Sorry I can't help with the kiwi carb question, but there are massive differences between how individuals deal with different fruits. For example, there was a query recently be someone who spikes with cherry tomatoes.

A large kiwi can have 10g of carb, less for smaller ones. They are not particularly high GI, but if you are finding it causes a spike in your BGs, try eating them as a dessert after a meal rather than a between-meal snack. Lower GI fruits include raspberries and strawberries.

In answer to your second point on booze, alcohol has a double-pronged effect on me. Drinks like beer and cider (ie. carby) punt my sugars right up and I don't seem to get the delayed blood sugar drop that many people do. Drinks like gin and slim tonic (ie. no carbs) tend to make my BG drop a little, but never significantly.
