Hi, I have only recently started testing my sugar levels but have found that they are at their highest after 8 hours sleep and longer without food.
A quick search come up with "Somogyi effect" or "Dawn Phenomenon" as possible reasons.
Can anybody explain how either of the two reasons can raise sugar levels while sleeping?
