I don't know if anyone else has had this trouble but since the clocks changed, last weekend, my bg's have been running much higher than usual. Should I change basal rates to what they would have been before the time changed?

I haven't experienced any change really, but then my regime is very different to yours. It could just be coincidence, but it might be worth having a word with your DSN to see if she/he can offer any explanation. What sort of levels have you been getting compared to before? Did you change the time on your pump?

Many people find that as soon as the clocks change their insulin requirements change.
I'm one of those but for me it's a case of less insulin. Just go with what your body is telling you. IE you need to do a basal test or two to find out what's going on.

I had the opposite problem- no less than 8 hypos since Sunday including some in the low 2s- At first I thought it was a combination of not adeqately treating the initial hypo, being active ( long walk), bolusing innapropriately for beer etc etc but have been see sawing after reducing basal rates and boluses. Started to creep up yesteday pm and hit 16 prebed/ still 13 on wakening- so back to usual levels and doing my version of basal testing today by skipping lunch and breakfast but it's not a true basal test as per the book as I gave a correction bolus and will eat something small if less then 5.5 this lunchtime due to needing to drive
I wonder about the change in clock, or colder weather. Had a similar problem early August so maybe it's a 3 montly phenomena

I have moved all of my basals forward one hour and my bg's seem back to normal, so far. I'll see what happens.
