Hi Friends just wonderd what you thoughts were on this for some time now i always 9 times out of 10 had high BG in morning due to havn carbs at bedtime as when i dont eat carbs and just have my evn meal at 6pm my BG first thing is right on target.

My Q --------- If BG is high say between 12/16 would you just have corrective dose n wait a wee while before you had Breakfast or still go ahead and have breakfast with the possible risk of puttn BG even higher

Personally, I would include the correction dose with my breakfast dose. In the mornings I always wait 15-30 minutes after injecting before eating as this gives the insulin time to start working before it has to cope with the rise from the food. 🙂

I do exactly what Northerner does too, after having the same problem as you and being that advice on this board! Really struggled with morning BS and high 2 hours after breakfast too but injecting 30 mins before (including correction dose if needed) has really sorted that out.
