Hi Maylou welcome to our forum lots of friendly people here who will help you- youve joined a great place

Hi Julie, welcome to the forum 🙂 I think it can often be difficult for people when they are used to one insulin regime to be moved onto a new one, but hopefully once you are over the teething troubles you will find that 4 injections gives you better control and greater flexibility 🙂 Have you been taught to carb count, or are you on fixed doses? Do let us know if you have any questions - you're not expected to know everything and there are no 'silly' questions here, so please let us know if we can help you get your head round things! 🙂

Hi Julie and welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear you is well and truly confuzzled :( Have you not been given any instructions or education in carb counting and how to adjust your insulin?
If you haven't then I would class that as negligent by your care! team.
Go back to your dsn and say oi excuse me but what the heck am I suposed to be doing with this stuff.
Perhaps also invest in a couple of books called think like a pancreas and using insulin.
Both can be found on amazon 🙂
Any questions and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out, so just ask away.
