That’s good, I am also overweight I find it hard to lose weight as I have other health conditions which I often have to take medications and steroids for.
I think that by following the principals advocated here but taking it gently and gradually you will get benefit and you will be armed with some knowledge for if and when you see somebody at your surgery. What will be important is to have a repeat HbA1C test after 3 months so you can see if the adjustment you have made to your diet have been effective.Hi , gp said there’s no reason to see her and if I want nutritional advice then I can make appointment to see a nurse (surgery doesn’t have a diabetic nurse),but no appointments with nurse for the next month.
