Hi there everyone.....Just joined, and looking forward for some good advice , on coping with my Diabetes type 2 (Insulin)

Hi and welcome.

Have you been diagnosed long?
Which insulin(s) have they given you and how are you managing with testing and injecting?
Do you carb count or are you on fixed doses?
Are you on other diabetes medication?
Have you made any adjustment to your diet/exercise?

Hope that doesn't sound like the Spanish inquisition (I suspect it does 🙄 but no obligation to answer.... we don't use thumb screws 😱) but the more info you can give us, the better we can understand your situation and give more appropriate support and advice.

Look forward to getting to know you better.

Welcome to the forum @Hillguy15

We have quite a few insulin-using T2s on the forum for you to compare notes with, along with a lots of T1s as well. How long have you been on the ole Banting Juice?

Have you been living with diabetes for long? How have you been finding things? Anything in particular you struggle with?

Hi Buddy....Ive been suffering from T2 for around 15 years....Ive got issues trying to control my weight...Insulin injections,
bizarrely Ive only been doing the jabs for around 2 years now.....At first I was hesitent doing the jabs, but when you see the size of the needles....You really cant complain.....Thank you for getting in touch with me....appreciated

I'm assuming you would like to lose weight? Please correct me if I am wrong?
It can be difficult to lose weight if you are on a mixed insulin and fixed doses, so knowing the insulin regime you are using would be a helpful starting point in understanding and perhaps advising on that.
