My name is Christine andIm. 62. I've had diabetes type 2 for about 10 years now. For the last few months I feel like I've done everything I can to lower my blood sugar levels. As they are 20 mmol or more most days. I'm switching to veggie meals most days as my sons been reading a book which advocates plant based meals as the author believes meat has been the main cause for a lot of western deseases. Anyway whether I believe or not, I'm trying it. But I'm always tired and never want to even walk, let alone more vigorous exercise... I sleep a ridiculous amount of hours, sometimes 12.... I'm four stone overweight so am trying to loose that. I'm on insulin once a day and five different tablets. My feet are experiencing numbness and tingling with shape pains at times. I am fed up and starting to suffer depression again.... Any advice???
