When you sat 'this virus' do you actually mean COVID 19 ? If it's that, every one of us and lots of non-Ds of course, are extremely worried about it of course, we'd be daft not to be. The thing I want to highlight to you is that generally we cope OK with day to day stress of all and any kind, we just get used to it because it's ordinary but when we are too highly stressed for whatever reason that might be, it can and does cause the BG to increase and hence when/if that happens, we usually need to increase our insulin doses.
Or it could be that the initial doses were going to need to be adjusted 'in due course' anyway. This happens quite often to begin with, though minor tweaks here and there are simply needed as and when - it isn't the same dosage for life.
You therefore need to analyse your feelings and your bodily reaction to them - is it likely to be normal adjustment, is it stress or is it a sign that you either haven't got over the infection, or sickening for something else? In any event, you probably need to ring your D clinic, discuss it and try and get some proper advice on dosage and maybe timings.
