Type 2
Hi
Thanks for adding me. Type 2 and diagnosed last year. Was doing well but last few months have really struggled.
Interested to hear others thoughts.
Thanks

Welcome @Lynn9658 🙂 Are you on any medication for the diabetes? What in particular are you struggling with?

Hi
I’m on metformin 3 tabs a day
I’ve really struggled to stay away from bad foods. I had lost nearly 4 stone but since October I’ve put 1 stone back on.
Vision was a little blurred last night also
I have eye test today and DN appointment tomorrow.
So I feel like I’m getting control back. But to be truthful, I’ve not looked after my self well.

Welcome to the forum @Lynn9658

Well done on your terrific weight loss!

I completely understand about putting the weight back on, especially with the long nights, rain, and Christmas to contend with too.

Nothing like to easy to get out and about, and a time of year which almost invites us to stay in, snuggle and graze our way through until Spring.

The great thing is that you’ve spotted it, and realised that it’s something you want to change. That’s a huge and vital step!

Blurry vision can be a sign of elevated glucose levels.

Have you had bloods done so that you’ll be able to discuss the results tomorrow? Hope the appointment goes well, and you get offered some support, and perhaps a change of treatment to help you (perhaps starting or changing meds to help get you back on track).

Let us know how things go 🙂
