Hi new here and to diabetes

Thanks for the replies and advice its really helpful, starting to think maybe this is doable after all,
Started to go through the Desmond online course food thing still feels very alien but one thing at a time and all that

@hefty my HbA1c = 47 now after following diet advice for 3 months. was 53. That 47 is classed as not diabetic now, except I am on medication. I also lost weight. It strikes me the results can be relatively predictable in mild cases, not sure what I will do next. Probably I will check what exercise does once the weather improves.

Keep doing what you have bee and you should see your HbA1C go further down towards normal of below 42mmol/mol.
 
Been able to ditch travelling by taxi. Lots of walking instead. Wow.

Weight is still dropping.
