Hi Libre 2 working but phone not scanning

Hi and welcome. Could your NFC on the phone be broken. I believe scanning uses NFC (Near Field Communication) whereas the CGM readings go via Bluetooth to the phone. Which phone do you have? I think we had one or two people on the forum whose NFC died on their iphones. You can test it via ApplePay because it also works on NFC.

However you do need to get your phone in exactly the right spot to pick up the NFC so maybe that is the issue and you just haven't got it lined up quite right or it is on the back of the phone instead of the front or something daft. I find my iphone takes absolutely ages to set itself up for a scan and then ages to display the result whereas the reader is much quicker and convenient, and the NFC signal easier to locate so I have given up on CGM and gone back to the reader as it works best for me.

I think the point was that it must have been activated with the phones NFC...
