That's awesome. I find that having a goal helps keep me motivated. I start my training Jan 23rd. I have a slight injury to work through. Been cross training with swimming, but end up fighting with low blood sugar at the end of a swim.Hi welcome to the forum. Good luck with your training. I've done a half (2) and full marathon (3) in the past, I done walking ones though. But I'm training for my first 10km run at the end of January
Welcome to the forum SueMC.
Have you discovered sports and insulin websites such as www.runsweet.com and www.teambloodglucose.com ?
Yes dexcom4. Works with the Animas Vibe pump. It helps a lot with the hypos. Especially when I exercise more than I am used to. My hubby hears it also and tells me to check my blood sugar. I usually wake up prior to the alarm going off because I feel so bad when I get low. There is a 5 min delay with the CGM that's why I feel it before the alarm goes off.Hi Sue
Why did the pump alarm go off? Have you got a CGM?
Me too thanksWell done & good luck in the run Sue. Hope it goes off to plan. Welcome 🙂
