Hi , I've been type 2 since last March , lost two stone in weight brought numbers down . Had some very serious issues in the family since last year my dad died, and 8 months later a very serious family tragedy now sorted , then In August my little nephew had a road accident and was fighting for his we lost him but they brought him back. I started feeling unwell about five months ago and because of all the problems never went to the doctors, but I felt so poorly last Wednesday I had to go and see the doctor , turns out my numbers have shot right up to 104 , no weight gain but i haven't been eating properly I have been eating a lot of bread and sugary things comfort foods , this with the added stress has raised my numbers .

I decided to join here to get myself motivated with you lot if you don't mind me doing so , I'm hoping it will encourage me to get back on track again .

I've not started medication yet i get the prescription Monday metmorfin, but i have cut out as much carbs as possible and no cakes biscuits bread or sweets , and amazingly after only two days i feel a huge difference , I don't feel nauseous when i wake during the night to go to the loo, my vision is crystal clear and even my joints ache less. So even without medication just this change in diet has proved to relieve symptoms.

Thanks for reading , just wanted to introduce myself and to say thank you for letting me join 🙂 xx
