Don't remember that, but I think I recall an aspidistra in Hitch Hikers Guide ... don't panic, just be sure to remember my towel LOL.
 
Was that Richard Stilgoe? I have only the faintest memory of the programme, but my children would have been the right age to watch it.

I don't remember one. (Closest would be the bowl of petunias, I think, who thought "Oh no, not again!" while falling to the legendary planet of Magrathea.)
