Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes 7-8 months ago. I was admitted to the hospital with very high 120 bs and my ketones where bad too.
I was put on insulin novo-rapid and a unliking injection of slow release, I was also given slow release metformin.
This all worked at bringing my numbers down. I started having a few hypos, now they have taken me off novo rapid reduced my slow release insulin and given me OZEMPIC. I had HB13 checked and gone down to 41. I know this is great.
Yet I’m feeling cold, nauseous, lots of headaches and the weight hasn’t been coming down. I’m now on 0.5 this will be week 4 and did 0.25 for a month

If you look at the patient leaflet that came with Ozempic, I think you will find the side effects you are experiencing are the common to that drug, as many seem to come here sayin that, if you are finding them too much you should contact who ever prescribed them.

Welcome to the forum @Efrat

Good to hear that your BG levels have been coming down. Osrry that you haven’t seen much weight loss yet.

Sorry to hear about the headaches and nausea you are experiencing. Do get back to your GP to discuss them.

Have you made many changes to your diet to try to help your BG levels and weight loss? Reducing carbohydrate can be a very effective strategy.
