Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hello everyone. I recently had a stroke whilst on a flight, spent 2 weeks in hospital and they diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes. That was 5 weeks ago and I am recovering very well from the stoke and I am focusing on my diabetes. There is a lot of conflicting information online but I feel I am now getting a clear handle on things. I have gone through my life oblivious to the epidemic that is sweeping the west for people diagnosed with type 2. I am determined to drop my excess weight and adjust my lifestyle and it's good to have somewhere to compare experiences. So hello everyone, take care and God bless you all.

Welcome to the forum, glad you found us. What a scary experience, glad you have recovered well
