Hi, I am not new to diabetes but new to this forum.
Unfortunately my sugar levels are rising so nurse is recommending I maybe try another tablet Rybelsus or move to Trulicity, can anyone else on either of these please help me with my decision?

Welcome to the forum. A few questions if you don't mind as it will help people give appropriate responses.
How long have you been diagnosed
What medications are you already on
What is your HbA1C indicating your blood glucose is increasing.
Do you monitor your levels at home.
What dietary regime are you following.
Sorry if that sounds like the third degree but it is important to know to make sure the answers are sensible.
I must admit I have never heard of Rybelsus.

Welcome from me @Chris1412.

Just had a quick google of Rybelsus. It seems to be another brand name for semaglutide for which the most common brand name is Ozempic and so discussions on the forum about Ozempic might be relevant. Mind you I'm no expert in these things so if somebody knows better, then please shout out.

It's an oral form, versus Ozempic injections. Approved in the UK in Sep 2020.

Hi Chris thanks for your comment! If you have any concerns about these medications, we would advise you to get in touch with your GP or a Diabetes Specialist to understand why you have been recommended these. You can find more information about these medications from these two links https://bit.ly/3jEPHAw https://bit.ly/37KsnPg
