Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 10 or so years ago following being on high dose steroids for a long time.
Unfortunately i reacted badly to most pills and as my sugars were so high for a long time I had to go onto Insulin.treatment. I’m on Lantus and Novorapid.
I have neuropathy in my feet, hands, bladder and stomach. Also I’ve had laser treatment on my eyes.. I know these have individual names but I’m being lazy not looking up the spellings
looking forward to using this forum.

Hello @Chris56
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you find it useful and enjoyable.
We are a friendly bunch and with a great deal of knowledge and experience of living with diabetes. Hope that you will take a good browse around and follow and maybe join in some of the threads on many different topics.

Things sound very difficult for you. How are you coping with the self-isolating?

Thank you for the welcome

yes, things are difficult health wise but hey, I’m sure there are many the same or worse.

im coping with self isolating fine, dr phoned to say to stay at home so no contact. All good, keeping busy and really appreciating how kind people are. I have food delivered and prescriptions picked up.
These strange times have really brought people together and shown how many lovely, kind folks are out there.
