Hi Everyone! I was recently told im T2. My Doctors apparently knew for around a year but only told me a couple of months ago. Been a wild ride which ill explain about in a gen message post.

Welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of helpful and knowledgable people here.

Sadly it seems common that doctors fail to inform patients of conditions. I had to push my doctors to look at my bloods further as it seemed I had CKD (I did)
While doing my own research I came across a story from a person who went to their surgery for a routine blood test. The nurse casually mentioned it was because of their kidney disease. Turns out they'd had kidney disease fo12-13 years without being told!

Welcome to the forum @BigWelsh

Glad you have found us!

I’ll go and check your other thread for the full story 🙂
