New on here …. Is it a new site? I looked to download the app but there was only one star but so far I have had a good response to a question I asked, ‍♀️

No, the forum has been around for a number of years - 16 years, I think - and Diabetes U.K. itself has been around for decades 🙂 I didn’t think there was an app. Do make sure you’re not being deceived by other apps/sites that are commercial and not connected to Diabetes U.K. @Peekaboo63

Thank you …. I did wonder that myself, think I will just visit when I get e-mail notifications and delete the app.

You can visit without notifications too 🙂 There are often interesting threads to read here. If you click the little box that says Stay Logged In or whatever it says, you won’t need to log in each time. You can just visit: forum.diabetes.org.uk and read and post as you like.

I assume you mean this app. It is not an app for the forum. Are you trying to find volunteering work?

No Lucy I am not looking for volunteering work, I am waiting for Autism assesment myself so struggle with processing a lot of things the app thing was a misunderstanding on my part but a member on here explained it to me.

If you’d find it helpful you can choose to add a shortcut to your home screen, which will allow you to jump straight to the forum on your phone. it will have an icon, and look like an app, but will you’ll be visiting the forum using your phone’s internet browser, so it won’t clog up your phone with unnecessary extra files. 🙂

@Peekaboo63 this forum really is great resource for just about anything that people want to know to help managing (in your case preventing) Diabetes and it’s complications, I tend to access the forum everyday both on my iPad when at home, and sometimes during the day on my phone, like many others it’s been a great help to me, hope it will be for you
