does anyone else find this hot weather sends there bs high or is it just me

Nope you'll not the only one.. My levels are starting to settle down now, didn't go sky high, but had a couple of disappointing 7's and one 8:(

Mine have been the opposite Gail - despite reducing my insulin hugely I'm still having 3-4 mild hypos a day 😱

my levels are round the 18 mark today

i hope it is cooler as this lady is not glowing shes sweating like a pig

I've been hypo-fighting too Alan - gradually carving down a basal pattern to cope!

Well mine's done both today: 22.8 after breakfast and 3.5 just now... :D

Not really no still steady with highest level since mond been 6.9.water consumption has rocketed though lol

Ive been fighting hypos with the heat, but i`m also suffering with the honeymoon period so my diabetic team has told me to stay indoors away from the heat!:(

I've had to up my Lantus 2u to try and combat the stubborn mid-teen BG's for the last couple of weeks. Meter 30 day average has shot up! :(

I'm totally the opposite, I had 3 units novorapid with my lunch today - the same lunch that I needed 11 units for a week ago! 😱

Just goes to show how contrary diabetes is!

My BG's have been high too, so having to be extra careful, specially as i'm not allowed testing strips.
Will try & get some from GP tommorow i hope, fingers crossed.

Me too. Tried a TBR of 90% and then 80% yesterday. The 80% seemed to get me back to normal.

It's definitely not just you mine always go high when it's this hot I've mostly been in the 12's- 14's:(
