How exciting to be trying for a baby!

We’ve had many beautiful, healthy, bouncing babies over the years born to members with various types.

The target levels recommended in pregnancy are challengingly tight, but seem worth the effort and hard work to keep baby well.

Hope your levels begin to settle now that you have NovoRapid to add to the mix. Have you been given an idea of how many grams of carbohydrate you should be aiming to have at each meal?

Hopefully some of our insulin-using T2s will be along to share their tips and experiences 🙂

Thankyou for your welcome

It’s all very daunting, I’ve ordered a book recommended by the dietitian and I’ve been using good old google quite a bit.

I’m going back in three weeks to see how things are but I’m aiming to get to around 7…I haven’t been told what carb count to aim for (unless I was told but it got lost in all the information they was giving me) but I’m trying to keep it minimal and trying to fill up with protein foods. So far I’ve only needed 4 units which was at breakfast…I’m not sure if that’s good or not?
